When Refueling, Smart People Ask the Staff One Question: Knowing This Will Bring Countless Benefits
Not everyone pays attention to this. When refueling, you should choose reputable and branded gas stations. At these stations, the fuel quality is guaranteed, the measurement system is standardized (or with minimal deviation), and the fueling process and prices are clearly displayed.
If you have to refuel at an unfamiliar location, choose places where many truck drivers or taxi drivers stop. These people travel frequently and have a lot of experience in selecting trustworthy gas stations.
Refuel by Volume, Not by Full Tank
Many people have the habit of asking for a full tank of gas. However, this can lead to customer losses. When refueling, it’s better to ask for a specific volume.
The fuel nozzle has a reverse suction mechanism that draws gasoline back to prevent it from overflowing outside the tank. This inadvertently leads to customers losing out. Even if the nozzle doesn’t have this anti-overflow mechanism, filling the tank completely can still cause gasoline to spill out, leading to waste.
Pay Attention to the Gas Pump Meter
When refueling, make sure to observe the meter on the pump to ensure that all numbers reset to zero before fuel is dispensed into your tank. Carefully monitor the refueling process to avoid fraudulent behavior by the staff.
